Hi Shortcore,
You have to take the seat off - it's only held on with two bolts.
Then remove the left frame cover.
Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
Remove tool box cover and toolkit.
Remove tool box body and lock bracket.
Disconnect battery positive terminal.
Remove battery.
